This simulator is inspired by the Welch Allyn Suretemp Plus 390, a thermometer used in most hospitals in North America. This device is particularly designed for simulation purposes. It will allow you to simulate a temperature measurement with the use of whether a low, medium, high-fidelity mannequin or even with a simulated (standardized) patient. By using a tablet, cell phone, computer or an iPod, you will then be able to send the values to simulate hypoglycemia and/or hyperglycemia. The oral and rectal probes are compatible with Welch-Allyn probe covers.
